Your tent comes with poles, an extra repair section and aluminum repair sleeve, but spare poles can come in handy, both for repairs and as extra insurance for trips to very remote areas. You can also double pole our all-season tents for additional strength, but this would only ever be needed in very extreme weather conditions. In certain Red Label models, you can swap out the standard 9 mm poles for 10 mm ones. For tents where this is a possibility, you will see the “optional” 10 mm poles listed below the model’s standard poles.
