Both vents are placed high up in the roof close to the central cross section of the poles. This is the best position since warm and moist air rises. They are an integral part of the entrances and can be operated by zippers. Even when closed the vents let out moist air, since they are made of permeable fabric. A large, detachable cover protects the entire area from snow or rain penetrating the tent.
