Their new pursuit lies in the Gobi desert. Due to the extreme temperature differences, sandstorms and the lack of water, it is known as one of the harshest landscapes. Their objective is to cross the vast desert by kite buggy. With help of these three-wheeled contraptions and kites, they plan on spending over a month to traverse the 1000 km barren stretch. Currently the expedition is scheduled to depart on May 10th 2009. The team will feature the same members as the Greenland expedition: Eric and Sarah McNair-Landry and Curtis Jones and a Keron tentwww.pittarak.com
